NYX - GIVE A LITTLE LOVE

LIPSTICK LOVERS, THIS IS THE POST FOR YOU!
I have without a doubt fallen in love with this product so even before I start ranting on about how much I adore it, I'm spreading the lipstick joy and seriously advising you to get on your hands on this product. NOW!
I recently picked this trio up from Very.com for the minimal price of £12 but if don't wish to purchase from Very, the set is sold online on the NYX website. I've always been a fan of NYX products so I definitely had high hopes, and they delivered. The set contains three shades; Antwerp - a coral pinkk, Addis Ababa- a fuschia pink and Tokyo- a nude pink. I'm not usually fan of pink lip products but this trio truly changed my mind.
The thing I love about this set is the formula and finished result of the lip cream. The lip cream is so easy to apply as it goes on almost like a lipgloss, just with a creamy texture, but dry as a matte lipstick resulting a product I just can't help but adore. The shades are very wearable and can seriously add a pop of colour to any face!
I think a product like this is ideal in the current heat wave that we're experiencing in Britain at the moment as it doesn't melt like a lipstick nor does it have that horrible gooey texture that a lip gloss gives.

I'm sure it's undoubtedly clear to you all that I love this lip cream but I'm positive that if you try it you'll be the same!
Have you tried any NYX  lip creams? What did you think?

The opinions above are my own and the products were purchased using my own money.

ESSIE - NEW NAUGHTY NAUTICAL SUMMER COLLECTION

So this obviously isn't the whole summer collection, but these were my favourite two colours from the range that I couldn't leave Boots without purchasing!
The two I picked up are Naughty Nautical and Full steam ahead.
Naughty Nautical (love the name) is a turquoise, that is more on the green side, with a little bit of shimmer running through whereas Full Steam Ahead is a stunning pastel lilac with silver shimmer. Both shades are gorgeous in my opinion, but Naughty Nautical is my fave.
Like all Essie Nail Lacquers, the formula is amazing. This nail lacquer goes on a dream, doesn't chip, is long lasting and very true to its colour in the bottle. The nail lacquers are very reasonably priced at £7.99 each and are worth every penny!
Essie's naughty nautical range contains six different shades which I would describe as; coral, pink, lilac, cool blue, pastel green and turquoise all with a beautiful shimmer that definitely gives it a touch of summer glam.

I would highly recommend this collection!
Have you tried this collection? Do you know any similar shades from other brands?

A TEENY TINY SUPERDRUG HAUL

Sooooo I went into my local superdrug with my mum and because I haven't been paid yet I intended not to purchase anything. Whoops. But to be fair, I barely spent anything so I have no reason to feel guilty!
What did I pick up? Oh just a few essentials. Like I said in my May Empties post, I like to use face wipes to remove my make up and because I have combination skin (more on the dry side if I'm honest) these wipes seemed perfect so I'll let you know how good, or bad, these are in some upcoming posts. I also picked up my favourite hand cream and heat defence spray and some other bits.

I'm not a massive fan of drugstore makeup, I mean some items are complete gems and I absolutely love them but generally speaking they're obviously not as good as the high end brands, but nail varnish is an exception. There was no way I was going to walk past the NYC counter without taking advantage of the 3 for 2 offer. No way! I actually love some of the products NYC make, especially their nail polish. I picked up a glitter nail polish, which I wear would over an opaque nail varnish, called Lights Camera Glitter, a clear topcoat and a bubblegum pink nail varnish which funnily enough is called Bubblegum Pink. I am currently wearing the Lights Camera Glitter over Barry M's Gelly Hi Shine in Blueberry and I adoreeeeee it! Expect a post very soon!
The final item I bought which I think is by far the best, is Superdrug's Vitamin E All Over Body Moisturiser. I love love love love love this. I have previously used this before, loved it then and I love it now. I seriously cannot rave about this enough. Trust me ladies, whatever moisturiser you are currently using, bin it and get some of this (okay well maybe don't do that but you have to try this!) Everyone I have spoke to and all the blog posts I have read love this product, and when you try it you'll understand why. As you know I'm really funny about the smell of products but this smells great and leaves my skin silky soft. Just perfection in a tub, and for £2.99 you can't go wrong!

I hope to be reviewing some of these products very soon, so keep your eyes peeled.
Have you tried any of these products? What did you think of them?

LIPSTICK LOVE

Kate Lipstick for Rimmel [shade 110]

I've always been  huge fan of Kate Moss' collection of lipsticks for Rimmel (it's probably the only 'high street' lipstick that I love) because the packing is so cute, (I'm a total sucker for packing) and the products smell so delicious. So today, whilst I was pondering around the shops, I went into Boots and I couldn't help but notice how gorgeous this shade was. The first thing I though of when I saw it was summer. Yes summer. Just think how amazing this shade will look against bronzed skin, I'm so excited! But anyways, when I discovered  shade I just had to have it especially because it's a coral red, which is the only shade I don't have in my ever growing collection or what my mum calls 'Paige's draw of rainbow lipsticks.' Haha!
I think I will always love Kate Moss for Rimmel and definitely if the satin style formula stays the same, it really gives my lips a nourishing feeling. I love how easy it is to apply, how it smells of watermelons and how cheap it is, it's an absolute steal!
The only criticism I have of the product is how quickly it comes off, which for me is about an hour to an hour and a half, but considering the price I'm not bothered.

Upside down pout (how edgy of me)
So what do you think of this high-street lippy? Let me know!
