BUBBLEGUM AND SPACESHIPS - A LITTLE LUSH HAUL

I was recently out shopping with one of my best friends and I find it impossible to walk past a LUSH shop without having a look inside, but I only bought two items this time (well done me!) I've heard so many good things about the Mint Lip Scrub so my intentions were to go in, get the mint scrub and leave without spending too much money, but when I saw they did the scrub in bubblegum I knew this was the one. What a great decision if I do say so myself! This stuff is amaaaaaaazing For those who don't know, its basically a sugar formula you rub on your lips to remove all the dead skin and then you lick the excessive off, HOW COOL IS THAT! I seriously recommend it to everyone, I'm totally addicted to it!

The second item I bought was a 'Space Girl' bath bomb, and the main reason I bought it was because it smells like Parma Violet sweets (I'm totally a sweetie person as you can tell) I'm not a massive fan of bath bombs as they tend to irritate my skin but I actually really liked this one. It doesn't add anything to the bath water, just turns it lilac and smelling of parma violets! I really wish I had taken a photo of the bath water to show you, but I was too amazed at how bright the water went I completely forgot!

What do you think about LUSH products? Are you a bath bomb lover?
Thanks for reading and have a lovely week!

It's the perfect size for me and I really like the structure of the bag so it's a win win situation :)  The contents of my bag is very random, but it definitely reflects me!

So what do you have in your bags? Is the contents as random as mine?
Thanks for reading guys!

STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD

H&M Blazer
South dress from Very.com
Primark black pumps
Topshop bag

Hello there! Today I had an interview in a department store for the role of a sales adviser, not entirely sure how it went but lets just keep our fingers crossed! I remember at school when we used to have talks about job interviews etc. and they always used to drum on about the need to stand out from the crowd, and what better way to do this then wear a bright orange blazer! It's a shame I'm still waiting for a new camera because this piece of junk really doesn't show how bright this blazer really is, but I'm sure I'll wear it again and I'll have photographs on my new camera of it.

Have a lovely weekend guys!

MY LATEST LOVES

REDKEN Extreme Cat hair treatment
Sudocrem
Yves Saint Laurent Elle perfume
MUA Eyeshadow palette in Heaven and Earth
Essie Nail lacquer in Rosebowl
Clarins Pure Melt Cleansing Gel
Clarins Smoothing Body Scrub For a New Skin

Hello there! Just a quick blog post because I feel like I haven't blogged in awhile but these are the products I'm absolutely loving at the moment. If I could only recommend one product it would have to thr Clarins Pure Melt Cleansing Gel, this is an essential beauty product! I use this every day after taking my makeup off and it has guaranteed me super soft skin whilst cleansing my face! Its a dream in a tube!
I'm loving Elle by Yves Saint Laurent lately (as you can tell because I've almost finished the bottle...gasp) due the floral smell. It's what I would describe as being a 'light' fragrance and it's just the most perfect smell for this sunny weather.
If you're wondering why there is a huge tub of Sudocrem, I have been having the worst breakouts ever lately and one of my close friends advised me to use it and I'm so glad I did! Why have I not discovered the wonders of Sudocrem before!?

Thanks for reading, have a lovely week!

H&M WELCOMES SUMMER WITH NEON

I've always been told that my wardrobe is dull and lacks colour, and if I'm honest I can't disagree. So with summer being big on neon and colour, I decided to pick up a couple of items from my local H&M and thought I would share it with you! Apologies for the photo quality, I'm still using my 'on the go' camera so you can't tell how bright the items are, but I can assure you that they are!
Both items were only £14.99 each (what a bargain!) and with this sunny weather, I'm excited for summer!

Will you be wearing neon this summer?

BARGAIN ALERT

No one can resist makeup when it's on offer, especially not me, so when I went to buy the Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation (heard so many good things so I had to try it for myself!) and noticed that if you spend over ten pounds on Rimmel products you receive the Scandaleyes mascara free, I couldn't refuse. In order to receive the offer, I purchased the Match Perfection foundation in shade 100 and Moisture Renew in Nude Delight 700.

Personally myself I've always preferred high end foundations such as YSLTouche Eclat, but I honestly cannot fault the Rimmel Match Perfection. I've found the formula blended really well into my skin and smelt so good!

As for the lipstick, I absolutely adore this colour and it applies like a dream. Although like all budget lipsticks it doesn't last for very long but for £4.49 you can't really complain!

I'm yet to try out the mascara, but I'm planning to review and compare all my mascaras within the next week so I shall let you know very soon what I think about it!

Thanks for reading!

MY WEEK IN NAILS

Basically I'm every beauty bloggers nightmare when it comes to nails, my natural nails have always been so frail and break easily leaving me with horrible stumpy nails and I would be lying if I told you I didn't bite my nails.
But anyways last week I decided I needed acrylics, I cannot stand to look at what could barely pass for being fingernails any longer! I know acrylics are really bad for your nails but they look so much more presentable, and its far nicer to paint!

So with nice nails comes the challenge of painting them although don't you think there are some beaut shades on the high street lately? I always get a little excited when I get my nails done and splash out on various nail polishes but there was no way I could say no to OPI Lincoln Park after Dark. This shade is beyond a dream, definitely for me because I love any product that is a deep red or purple. I don't own many OPI shades but this has to be by far one of favourite nail vanish shades of all time! Is there any that you would recommend?

But back to the subject, I am currently adoring the Barry M's Gelly Hi-Shine nail paints and couldn't resist to buy five different shades (because they're all so pretty, obviously.) I'm a really impatient person and will be the first person to admit it so painting my nails so a constant nightmare because I can't be bothered with all the faffing about waiting for them to dry but I've found I reeeeeeeally enjoy this collection. For me, it drys quick, doesn't chip and the colours just pop - so  in love with the 'Blueberry 306' at the moment!

So these are my two favourite choices for nail vanish this week, I hope the images help you understand why I love them so much.

WHAT A MONTH..

I cannot even begin to tell you how crazy this last month has been! Assignments, relationship breakups  health complications, haircuts and so much more, and without a doubt a nightmare of a month but I will get back into blogging, even if I only did so for like a week anyways!
