SUPERDRUG'S VITAMIN E HOT CLOTH CLEANSER

I've tried so many different types of cleansers and found that only the Clarins Pure Melt Cleansing Gel did the job for me, until now. Low and behold this drugstore gem.
Like I've said before, I'm a fan of drugstore skin products and when I spotted that this cleanser was on offer for 2 for £4, I couldn't resist (especially as they retail for £4.99 each!) and I'm so glad I didn't. The formula of this cleanser is very thick and creamy, not something you would expect for such a cheap price. I've found with this cleanser that a little bit definitely goes a long way.
Because the formula is very creamy is goes on with ease, removes all signs of dirt/makeup - even waterproof mascara/anything on your face and you can see the results on the muslin cloth! It leaves my skin feeling very soft and doesn't break me out! Another thing I love about this product is the smell. Like the entire Vitamin E Skincare range from Superdrug, there is a slight coconut scent which of course I adore, but it's very subtle so if you're not a fan of coconuts then the smell shouldn't bother you too much!
This has quickly become one of my favourite cleansers so if you're looking for a drugstore cleanser or just a good cleanser, then I highly recommend this one!

Have you tried this cleanser? What do you think about hot cloth cleansers?

REVIEW - THE BODY SHOP PEPPERMINT SMOOTHING PUMICE FOOT SCRUB

There is nothing more I hate than neglected feet. You know what I mean, dry skin, chapped heels, unpainted toenails, just ew! Being a regular TFL user, I've seen a lot of neglected feet in my time and that makes me more adamant to have nice feet (if such a thing exists.)
With all this lovely weather we've been having in London I made sure I take extra care of my feet! A few weeks back I popped into my local The Body Shop and as a thank you to signing up to their membership card I received this foot scrub, which usually retails for £7, absolutely free.
Being an avid foot scrub lover I've tried and tested quite a few but this one stands out for me!
The thing that makes this stand out for me is the formula. Most scrubs, whether for the face, body or feet all have a similar texture; that horrible very gritty feeling, but this is unlike anything I have ever used. If you can tell from the pictures, it has almost a jelly-like feel but when applied to the skin the jelly-like formula begins to dissolve and you can feel the volcanic particles getting to work and removing all the dead skin! Another thing is how amazing this product smells. The Body Shop are always true to their fragranced products and this is definitely no exception. The peppermint fragrance is very strong, which I personally like, and has a soothing scent about it.
I suffer from dry feet and this scrub works wonders, no miracles! It removes all dead skin with ease and after a little moisturiser they feel silky soft!

I highly recommend this product to everyone and it's definitely become my favourite foot scrub!
Have you tried this? Would you recommend any other foot scrubs?

EMPTIES #2

Hey lovelies, I'd thought I would kick off this week with my most recent empties so here it goes!
Garnier Moisture Match for combination to oily skin
I really love this moisturiser for everyday use. It definitely controls my oils by giving a matte finish but leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturised. I would recommend it to everyone who suffers from oily/combination skin and I will, without a doubt, repurchase it!

Collection 2000 Extreme eyeliner
When it comes to eyeliner, felt liners are my favourite by far, and I was really impressed with this one. It's very inexpensive and I'm pretty sure I got it in a three for two offer anyways. For a cheap liner, it works wonders. It's so easy to apply, lasts all day and basically a good black eyeliner! I will definitely be repurchasing this beauty.

Clarins Pure Melt Cleansing Gel (travel size)
As I'm sure you're all very aware that this cleanser is my all time favourite. I recently purchased a Clarins Travel Bag and this, among others, happened to be a handy free item it came with! The formula is incredible and literally melts any makeup/product away in seconds. Surprise, surprise, I've already repurchased!

Rimmel Match Perfection in 100 Ivory
I've tried plenty of foundations in my time but this is one stands out for me. It's inexpensive and a miracle worker! It smells fab, blends into my skin very easily, it's buildable coverage and can survive all day without any touch ups! If you haven't already tried this foundation you need to, asap!

Benefit They're Real! mascara
Once upon a time I loved this mascara but this last month I've really gone off it. I just feel like it does nothing special for me anymore. Recently I've been loving Jelly Pong Pong's Fairy lashes and Maybelline's Falsies so I'm afraid to say I won't be repurchasing this item.

PRAIRIE CHARMS - PROJECT BLOGGER

I was recently contacted by Prairie Charms on Twitter to take part in Project Blogger, and I obviously leaped at the chance. Prairie Charms are a super cute online shop that sells headbands, jewellery and all kinds of pretty hair accessories. Not only do they sell lovely items, they donate 10% of all profits to Great Ormond Street Hospital's 'Kiss it better Campaign' - a company with good morals who sell good products, what more could you want?
I selected two items from the Prairie Charms website, the Rachelle Multi-Wrap and the Phoebe Floral Crown.
Phoebe Floral Crown
Rachelle Multi Wrap (can be used as a headband, necklace or bracelet)
Prairie Charms also offer their customers a free item when they send over £10, and I received a Maddy Glitter Heart Clip as mine.

Prairie Charms is an adorable online shop that offers products at very reasonable prices so if I was you I would check it out asap!

REVIEW: BENEFIT SPEED BROW IN NEUTRAL

Eyebrows are the bane of my life. I'm a lazy person at the best of times so spending ages doing my eyebrows aren't a part of my morning that I look forward too. I can easily spend hours plucking, shaping and colouring in my brows, so imagine my excitement when I discover a product that promises  to 'shape, tint and set my brows'.
My excitement was soon to turn into disappointment. I don't think I've ever blogged about a product that I didn't like so I'm really upset this one didn't do it for me. The problem is it does nothing that it claims it will. It didn't change the colour of my brows (and the product only comes in the shade 'neutral' so I wasn't using a shade that was too light), it didn't help to shape them but it does set them, so set that they're rock hard! It's such a shame because the gel like formula is lovely, and dries in record time.
Just in case it was just my brows that it did no good for, my close friend decided to trial the product out herself and see what I was fussing about. Unfortunately she agreed, the product really is no good.

Sorry Benefit but you've truly let yourselves down with this product!
Have you tried it? What did you think?

AUGUST GLOSSYBOX

Despite hearing a lot of negative comments about this months glossybox, I'm impressed! The theme for this months box was 'high-flyers', so the products are from various parts of the world including the UK, USA, Brazil, India and Sweden.
Emite Make Up - Eyelash Curlers £20 - Sweden
I'm excited to try these out! I've recently binned my old eyelash curlers and I was debating whether to purchase a pair of Shu Uemura curlers - the holy grail of eyelash curlers. The only thing that put me off was the price tag, I just couldn't justify spending that much money of curlers so I'm super happy about receiving these. Considering they're around the same price as Shu Uemura, I'm expecting a lot!
Ɠceane - Makeup Remover Pen - Brazil
I've never seen anything like this in the UK so I'm excited to try this out. I always manage to smudge my eyeliner so this is just perfect for me.
TresemmĆ© - Keratin Smooth Concentrated Treatment Shot £1.49 - USA
Bearing in mind this is available to buy in Superdrug, Boots, Waitrose and Tesco - how have I never seen it? I suffer from really dry ends so this should be a saviour!
Jelly Pong Pong - 2 in 1 Eyeshadow/Liner £10.50 - UK
As I'm sure you'll are very aware, I'm a big fan of Jelly Pong Pong cosmetics, especially their Fairy Lashes Mascara, so I've got high expectations for this. Although I only wear liquid or gel eyeliners, I think this will come in handy for creating a dark smokey eye.
Urban Veda - Neem + Botanics Purifying Exfoliating Facial Polish - India
I've never heard of this brand before but their principles are impressive so I'm really hoping I like the product, that way I have an excuse to purchase some more items from their range.

And that was this months glossybox. Out of the five products I received, four were full sized, which is just amazing! On first impressions, I'm impressed so hopefully these products will be as good as they seem!
What did you think about this months box?

SMALL DRUGSTORE/HIGH STREET HAUL

Hey lovelies! So I popped into my local Superdrug today and I couldn't help but pick up a few essentials, which of course I'm going to share with my lovely readers!

I noticed that Superdrug are having a '2 for £4' offer on their Vitamin E skincare range and I couldn't help but take advantage. The Vitamin E Hot Cloth Cleanser retails for £4.99 each so I'd be a fool not to purchase two for £4! I'm always trying out new cleansers, but my favourite so far is Clarins Pure Melt Cleansing gel,  so I'm super excited to give this one a go!
I also picked up some Acetone free nail polish remover as normal remover melts my acrylics and two nail polishes from Revlon. Superdrug is offering '2 for £10' on all Revlon nails, lips and eye products at the moment so I picked up shade 680 Revlon Red which is a gorgeous vibrant red and repurchased 960 which is a top coat- and the best I've ever tried!
I also grabbed two products for my hair. Batiste Dry Shampoo is a repurchased as the stuff is just a god send whereas the Urban Fudge product is a new purchase. I tend to use hairspray on a regular basis, and I've totally been loving VO5 High Volume, but after smelling this product I knew I had to have it. It smells like raspberries and vanilla- hello, how amazing is that (and it's also half price!)

Just a small haul today but I thought I would let you know what I got. Superdrug has got some amazing deals on at the moment so make sure you get yourselves down their pronto!

All products where purchased using my own money and all opinions are my own.

HAIR UPDATE AND CURRENT HAIR FAVOURITES

So I've just had a haircut and realised I've never posted a single post dedicated to hair products, so here it is!
VO5 HAIR SPRAY, HEAT PROTECTANT AND STYLE SPRAY
As I'm sure you're all aware, VO5 have given their range a revamp lately and I'm so glad they have. Until about six months ago, I never used heat protectant and I definitely paid the price. My hair was in such bad condition I had to have it all chopped off into a bob and now I never style my hair without the stuff. I'm not too fussy with heat protectant, as long as it does the job I'm happy, but this I really like because it does the job and smells fab.
The hairspray is probably the best I've ever used. It's got the same smell of the heat protectant, so no horrible vodka smell, and actually works. My hair stays in place without going all crispy and it brushes out really easily. Fave hairspray for sure!
The style spray is heaven in a bottle. For those days when I have second day hair and I really cannot be bothered to straighten it, I give it a couple of spray of 'Give me texture', a quick scrunch and vallah I got beachy waves making it look like I've made some effort. Because the spray contains a small amount of hairspray the look lasts all day.
ALBERTO BALSAM SHAMPOO + CONDITIONER WITH COCONUT AND LYCHEE
Without a doubt my all time favourite shampoo and conditioner combo. I've tried pretty much everything when it comes to shampoo and conditioner and considering my sister is a hairdresser, I've been informed a lot about shampoos and conditioners I should steer clear from. These babies retail for a mere £1 each and are bloody good value if you ask me! They're the only shampoo/conditioner that actually works on my hair. My hair is oily at the roots and dry on the ends, and this duo leaves my hair soft without looking greasy which is a win win statement. Obviously the fact it smells like coconut makes me love it more!
REDKEN EXTREME CAT
Like I mentioned earlier, my sister is a hairdresser, and one day she arrived home with this amazing product. I suffer from dry ends, not split or damaged, dry and this product helps to refuse them. I totally noticed a massive difference after a couple of uses and it became part of my hair routine very quickly, and has stayed! Out of all the hair products I've ever tried, this is by far my favourite and the one I most highly recommend

So that's my favourite hair products! Just thought I'd update you guys on my new barnet!
I have a fringe! I haven't had one of these in yearssss. I was so bored of my plain-all-one-length-bob so I thought I'd jazz it up with a fringe! I'm not entirely sure about it, but that's because I'm not used to it but I'm sure I'll warm to it soon.

And that's my hair update and hair loves! What are you hair favourites?

LIFESTYLE BLOGGING - CHOCCYWOCCYDOODAH

For those who aren't familiar with Choccywoccydoodah, they're amazing chocolatiers who specialise in creating magnificent cakes from chocolate, so magnificent that they have their own TV show documenting them on some of their amazing creations.
I have visited both the London and Brighton store before. I visited the Brighton store a few years ago to purchase a cake and I have visited the London store to attend their cafe twice in the past couple of months.
For a chocoholic like me, Choccywoccydoodah is heaven on Earth! The atmosphere in the shop is incredible and the service in the cafe is beyond brilliant. Today I'm blogging about my most recent visit as couple of days ago because I had such an amazing day that I need to share it!
I live in greater London which is only a 30 minute underground journey into central, so my mum, my two sisters and myself decided to venture out and have a day in town!
Choccywoccydoodah is located in the heart of Soho on Fouberts Place, just off of Carnaby Street. I love busy atmospheres, especially the vibe I get from walking around town so I knew I was going to have a good day. First stop was choccywoccydoodah for a chocolate lunch!
As you can see, choccy is any chocoholics dream!
After polishing off a dark chocolate truffle milkshake and a giant slice of triple layered chocolate cake with raspberry coulis and ice cream each, we decided to walk down to Leicester Square (more like waddle after the amount we had ate!)
Mum, Courteney, myself and Chelsea
No trip to Leicester square is complete unless you visit M&M world, which is exactly what we did!
The sight of chocolate eventually became too much for us so we decided to walk round to Trafalgar Square and make our way towards the Embankment/Westminster.
The thing I love about London is there is so much to do, and majority of it is free. My mum, my sisters and I are all keen walkers, so trekking around all the sights in London (like we had done a million times before) was very enjoyable. As we were getting closer to the London eye, we spotted an adorable Carousel.
How adorable does this carousel look?!
The carousel ride was a lovely end to a lovely day.
I love spending time with my mum and my sisters, they truly mean everything to me!

The quality of the photos are awful as they were taken on my phone, apologies!

REVIEW - SHOWER GEL AND SHOWER CREAM

I love anything with a fresh fruity scent so naturally I was ecstatic to see that my mum had picked up these two beauties from Boots and couldn't wait to give them a whirl.
I am literally OBSESSED with coconut scents at the moment, shampoo, shower gel, perfume, moisturiser - the list is endless so of course I was going to try out Coconut kiss first.
This cheap and cheerful shower cream definitely packs a punch. Let's be honest, it's a shower cream so it's not going to make my skin any better. But, and a massive but, it leaves me smelling like a coconut dream and I just love it! I really like the formula of this shower cream, it lathers up into a lovely foam and the smell lasts a good while.
After using coconut kiss, I had high expectations for cherry blast- which is slightly different as it's a shower gel instead of a cream. I've always preferred using shower creams because I just think they feel nicer on the skin, but I actually love this shower gel. The smell reminds me of those cherry sweets you get in Haribos, so in other words it's beyond lush! Unlike most shower gels, it has a nice formula. It's not running like most shower gels, lathers up really quickly and like I've said a thousand times, smells amazing.

I really am loving this fruity collection from Radox, but these two products just hit the nail on the head for me!
Have you tried them? Did you like them?

Radox Coconut Kiss and Cherry Blast widely available from Boots or boots, com for £1 each.

SUNDAY POST #8

Hello lovely ladiessss! Realised that I didn't do my Sunday post last Sunday, but basically I didn't do much, so it's not worth blogging about so I'm just going to ramble on about this week instead!
1. July has been such an amazing month for me. I can't exactly pinpoint why it's been so good, but let me just assure you it's been a good one. This month, and especially this week in particular, I've learnt a lot about my friendships and I'm not one to dwell on the past, so this week has taught me to told my head high and forget about petty things and petty people- you can't start a new chapter in your life if you keep rereading the last one! I say this pretty much every Sunday post, but it's just a way for me to vent my negativity and focus on the positive aspects of my life (soz for repeating myself!) I haven;t done anything significant this week apart from hanging out with friends and family, shopping and working-  very exciting life I lead. This week was payday week (hallelujah) so I've I'm planning to purchase a few more things before I post a haul, but it will be very soon!

2. One of my closest friends recently got a new job as a teaching assistant at a school for disabled children, and I'm so proud of her, so this week it's going to be our mission to learn makaton aka sign language! I learnt a little bit when I was younger as my primary school was very closely tied to a school which dealt specifically with disabled children so I'm super excited to learn some more as it's such a useful thing to know!
I'm planning to have a relaxed week this week (pretty sure I always say this) as I really want my body to have a detox, been going out far too much lately! No alcohol, exercise and plenty of sleep is required!
Instagram photos from this week
3. This week I've been loving any product with a coconut scent - especially Radox's new Coconut Kiss Shower Cream. It's nothing amazingly great, it's a good cheap shower cream that smells beyond amazing and definitely wakes me up in the morning! I will be posting about this shower cream plus another item from this line tomorrow!

4.Thank you sooooo much to everyone who reads this blog, you truly mean a hell of a bunch to me!

And that's all for this week! I've got a few posts planned for this week so make sure you check them out. Have a lovely week and I'll catch up with you next Sunday xxx

JULY FAVOURITES

Hello lovelies! I'm seriously in a state of shock, how is it August already!? I don't know about you but this year is whizzing past for me, and quite frankly I don't like it (it makes me feel old!)
For me, July has been an amazing month, probably the best of the year so far. This month I saw my gorgeous little sister turn 18, had fabulous weather in London and generally just had a month that I've really enjoyed with friends and family.
But anyways, here is my July favourites!
This months favourites include:
Kate Moss Rimmel Lipstick in 110 (see swatches here)
Vaseline Spray & Go (see review here)
Anatomicals Spray Misty for Me Facial Spritz
MAC Face and Body Foundation in C2
Jelly Pong Pong Fairy Lashes Mascara
Disney Pixar's Monsters University
MAC FACE AND BODY FOUNDATION:
Rimmel's Match Perfection Foundation in Ivory has been my go to foundation for months but I decided after reading so many good reviews that I wanted to branch out into the world of MAC foundation. As the massive MAC fan that I am, I'm genuinely shocked at myself for only just purchasing my first MAC foundation this month, and oh how I've fallen in love with it! Face and Body foundation is a medium coverage foundation (on me anyways) but is easily buildable. It covers all my imperfections nicely and gives me a fresh look. The product smells lovely and a little bit definitely goes a long way.
I will always stay true to Match Perfection by Rimmel but MAC Face and Body is just ideal in this warm weather as it stays put all day, so for now it's my statement foundation!

KATE MOSS FOR RIMMEL IN 110
I reviewed this product when I first started blogging about five months ago! I just love the formula of this lipstick as it has a lovely satin formula leaving my lips feeling soft but dries as a matte lipstick, which you all know if my favourite kind of finish for a lipstick. This month I've found myself wearing this shade more than what I usually would, especially whilst I'm out on these gorgeous summer evenings. I would definitely recommend this lipstick to all of you!

JELLY PONG PONG FAIRY LASHES MASCARA
Move over Benefit They're Real Mascara, I may have just found a mascara I love more, shocking right? I'm not suggesting this is the holy grail of mascaras for one second, but then again I'm not saying it's far off! I just loveee the formula of this mascara. It gives me lovely spread out lashes with the perfect amount of volume. I must admit, I'm not a massive fan over the wand or the packaging but due to the results that this mascara gives, I'm just going to have to lump it.
VASELINE SPRAY & GO MOISTURISER
If you check out my previous post, you'll see how much I love this moisturiser. I'm not going to going into depth as I've already done a post on this, but basically this moisturiser does exactly what it says it will and is definitely my new favourite moisturiser.

ANATOMICALS SPRAY MISTY FOR ME FACIAL SPRITZ
I received this is my last glossybox and I'm so grateful I did. I already have a couple of facial spritzers but I just felt like they did nothing for me, so I naturally I was reluctant to give this one a go. This facial spritz isn't like the rest, definitely not, it actually leaves me feeling refreshed and nourishes my skin. Especially because of the gorgeous weather that we've had in London this past month, this product has become very handy and I haven't started my day without it the whole month!
DISNEY PIXAR'S MONSTERS UNIVERSITY
Okay so I'm aware this isn't a beauty favourite, but I just love Monsters Inc and Monsters University so I thought it deserved a mention. I am a massive fan of Disney Pixar but after seeing Monsters University a couple of weeks ago, I'm very confident in saying it is now my favourite Disney Pixar film! I won't ruin the plot for those who haven't seen it yet and wish to do so, but I will say how they've incorporated Monsters Inc into Monsters University is beyond clever and it's an amazing film!

And that's my favourite products (and film) from July. Hoping August will be just as good as this month!
How was July for you? What were your favourites this month?
